A. G. Russell has recently introduced a new knife, the A. G. Russell™ Yellow Delrin® Folding Hunter. This is a serious knife for the outdoors; ranchers, farmers, hunters, campers and construction workers all need a substantial knife that can be laid down while working and not instantly disappear in the clutter as darker knives often do. The bright yellow of this sturdy handle will show up against any background.
A tried and true pattern, this knife shape has seen duty all over the world, but never before with such a great blade steel (154CM at 59-61 Rc.). The single 3-1/2" clip point blade is combined with handle scales of bright yellow Delrin, a really tough thermoplastic, for visibility and endurance. The bolsters and acorn inlay are nickel silver, the liners are the very best brass available for this purpose. While all of the knives we offer are made of great steel and fit to work for anyone in the world, many of them are really collectors' items and will rarely be seen working hard. This knife is just the other way around, while some will go into collections, the majority will be doing hard work for many years, even generations, in every outdoor endeavor. Measures 4-3/8" closed and weighs 4.2 oz. The retail price for this knife is $89.95.
