I've always wanted a non-threatening knife with a double ground blade, and I mostly prefer that single blade knives lock. I've totally redesigned the old fashioned swell end jack to reflect those two personal preferences. To ensure the quality I must have and to keep the cost where you could stand it, I have gone to one of the top two Chinese manufacturers. We are building unique designs with fine engineering and first class execution at a price that is affordable.

This Swell End Lockback has 416 stainless liners, bolsters and caps and handle scales of premium India stag. Very nice faux engraving embellishes the bolsters and the caps. The perfectly double ground blade is ATS-34 at 59-61 Rc., sharpened on one side only. A double thumb stud makes the knife fully one hand operated, by either hand. The blade opens and closes very smoothly because we have used a coil spring rather than wire or leaf. Measures 3-7/8" closed and weighs 2.9 oz.
