All previous Leo Damascus folders featured exotic wood inlays in CNC milled anodized aircraft aluminum handles. In this latest version, the inlay is not wood but 180-layer corrosion-free Damascus, which is carefully set into the handle by hand. The 3-3/4" drop point blade of 300-layer Damascus is hand forged from the barrel of the German battle tank Leopard I. With a hardness of 65-67 Rc., this steel yields a superior cutting ability. The handle is made of CNC machined AlMgSil aluminum and is hard coat anodized, contrasting nicely with the Damascus inlays. Includes a Walker style lock and a clip that can be reversed for tip-up or tip-down carry. Comes gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Measures 5" closed and weighs 6.1 oz. Made in Germany.
