A.G. Russell Knives

For several years, we have purchased knives from Japan with blades made of a laminated steel with a VG-10 core. First it was a seven-piece set of A. G. Russell™ kitchen knives with white Corian® handles. What an elegant set - and extremely sharp for use in the home or professional kitchen. Then early this year, we introduced two different sizes of a drop point folder with Chinese Quince and White Bone handles. This will be the first hunting knife that we have offered with this blade steel. This steel performs extremely well when ground very thin for kitchen knives or a little thicker (about 1/8") for a good sturdy hunting knife.

Made by IC Cut, a well-respected maker in Seki City, with a 3-7/8" drop point blade, a full tang, nickel silver guard and Stag handle scales. Measures 8-1/8" overall and weighs 5.4 oz. Includes a brown leather belt sheath.
