When you look at a Klötzli knife keep in mind that it is handcrafted to exacting standards in H. P. Klötzli's small shop in Burgdorf, Switzerland. When you hold a Klötzli knife in your hands you can't help but notice that it is unusual. First, Klötzli selects designs from some of today's top knife designers - Michael Walker, Brian Tighe and Christian Wimpff for example, and he chooses only the highest quality materials. Then comes the part that is lacking in so many knives today: the craftsmanship. Look at the precision with which all the parts fit together, and the finish, not only on the blade but all surfaces including the inside of the handle.

It has been a number of years since Michael Walker's high tech Liner-Lock® knives passed from a few hundred dollars each to thousands of dollars. Throughout these years there have been many knifemakers, specialty knife people and huge factories copying features from his knives, most of them without even the courtesy of mentioning his name. Klötzli produces Michael Walker Liner-Lock® designs with credit and compensation where it belongs.

In the Walker 05, the 3-5/8" Wharncliffe blade is ATS-34 at 59-61 Rc. and the 4-3/8" handle is titanium with inlays of high quality Black Lip Pearl. Weighs 3.2 oz. Made in Switzerland. Includes a high quality Klötzli black leather pouch. Suggested retail is $425.00.
