The high end of the Swiss knife business is the very small shop of H. P. Klötzli who is not only a fifth generation knife retailer in Switzerland, but also the promoter of the very first Swiss custom knife show. H. P. is also a knifemaker, specializing in knives using the liner lock developed by Michael Walker and designs from top European and American knifemakers.

In Switzerland, the Klötzli name has been associated with quality cutlery for over 150 years. H. P. is the fifth generation Klötzli to manage this outstanding knife company. His knifemaker apprenticeship was spent with Victorinox, producer of the well known red Swiss Army Knife.

Klötzli Tactical

We introduced the first variation of the Klötzli Titanium folder designed by American knifemaker Michael Walker. The knife is beautiful and our customers responded with great enthusiasm. When H. P. visited us, he brought a sample of the same knife dressed out as a tactical knife. With handle scales of milled G-10 for positive grip and a 3-5/8" slim clip point blade, it functions beautifully as a tactical.

Klötzli African Big Five Series - Elephant

H. P. Klötzli has created a very limited series of Christian Wimpff's striking Gentleman's Folder with scrimshawed images of the African Big Five on Wooly Mammoth Ivory scales exclusively for A. G. Russell and Russell's For Men . The Elephant is the last knife in the series. The signature of the scrimshaw artist, Atilla from Hungary, "1 of 25", and the year is cut into the front scale. The reverse scale is plain Ivory.

The Klötzli Sarra

This Klötzli knife is based on a tried and true Michael Walker design. As you will find with all Klötzli made knives, the Sarra works so smoothly you will hardly feel it opening. The handles are machined of solid titanium with satin finish and hole surfaces anodized in a bright blue.
