Matt Connable and the knifemakers at William Henry have created a special small run of only 25 knives pairing interior Mammoth Ivory (exclusive to A. G. Russell™ from William Henry) with a striking heat blued carbon Damascus frame from steel hand-forged by Larry Donnelly. The quality of Donnelly's work approaches the level of Devin Thomas and he is quickly gaining recognition in the knife world. The 2-5/8" drop point ZDP-189 laminate blade, a hallmark of William Henry's cutting tools, measures a phenomenal 67 Rc. at the edge and is coated with Tungsten Carbide for wear resistence. The combination of the dark colored blade and the creamy white Mammoth ivory handle scale enhances the contrast between the bright nickel and dark blued layers of the Damascus frame.
The screws and fittings are stainless, and the lanyard beads and bail are sterling silver. White Topaz gems in the thumbstud and lock button add to the elegance. The finishing touch is provided by William Henry's new braided leather lanyard with sterling silver adornments, and a matching ClipCase® in Ostrich leather.
Each knife is engraved with two distinct numbers - a serial number on the blade and a limited edition number on the leading edge of the handle. The numbers, along with details about the knife's construction, are listed in the included Certificate of Authenticity.
Measures 3-1/2" closed and weighs 1.9 oz. Ships in a beautiful solid wood display box with a WH medallion in the lid. Handcrafted in the William Henry Studio in Oregon.
